Is that so bad?

Well. It's labour day weekend. The sun is shining. The air is hot and heavy. And it may stay that way a little while longer. Summer is spreading, according to a study in July's Geophysical Letters. Let's for a brief second take this news at face value. Ignore the bigger picture. Don't fret about the drastically altering ecoregimes, shrinking polar bear populations and gonads, walrus babes drowning, flies evolving to warmer weather before our eyes, etc., etc. Forget, if you can, that we are screwed. Pshaw.

Instead crack open a bottle of your Greenland melting ice cap beer (apparently it has a "softer, cleaner taste" than other lagers), and bask in the forecast that you're slated to get just a little more mileage out of those flip flops.
