OK, SO THESE BEARS ARE IN A ZOO. BUT IT'S JUST SUCH A GREAT PICTURE... (PHOTO: JACOB BOTTER)
I went on holiday to Canada in 1996, and during the drive from the airport to my cousin's house, we saw some bears by the side of the road. Being the city rat that I am, I was ludicrously over-excited and demanded that we stop the car so I could snap a picture. Sadly, the only camera that I had with me was rubbish, so the resulting photo of my wildlife experience has gone down in family history as how not to be a photographer. Now, whenever anyone takes a picture of an animal that is nigh-on invisible in the final image it is known as a 'bear picture'.
So if you want to see bears, I've found a much better way to do it. This Grizzly Cam, courtesy of National Geographic. I've just spent the past 10 minutes watching a wild grizzly bear cub fishing with his mum in an Alaskan river, and it's knocked my previous bear experience right out of the water. Go look.
Thanks David!

Wow, a three headed bear!
