Any doubts about how suitably geeky you circus-goers are have now evaporated. Nothing screams "nerd alert" like some odd 30 geek tee submissions. Now choosing the best was tough. So tough that I've narrowed it down to the top ten and did so entirely without a scientific method. A couple notes and shout outs. Matt over at the Hairy Museum of Natural History has a gorgeous t-shirt of a cannabilistic dino. Also, while the top tees are hip and nerdy (see pythagorus tee below) the website proudnerd.com has purely nerd ones. Worth a peek. And without further ado in no particular order...
And just because I'm Canadian, swear like a sailor, but have a lot of the valley girl in me...
All suggestions were fantastic. As, very clearly, are the people who sent them in. Thanks guys.

It took me a while to "get" the "I < 3 Geeks" one. That's some wonky lovin' their doing! Hmmm.... sure there's a joke in there somewhere about changing the coordinates axes, or a performing a Wick rotation....
I particularly like "Resistance is futile..." and "If you're not part..." Brilliant!

I have a real soft spot for the "resistence is futile" one. Back in the early days of highschool when I sported those thick plastic rimmed violet goggles, i mean glasses, I was one of the Vogon Guards in our house play of The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And guess what my line was?

As a graduate student imperiling his academic career on superconductivity, the "resistance is futile (if < 1ohm)" shirt is painfully pertinet.

Sorry I missed the contest. My favorite is "Music + Science = Sexy".

I'm late, but I wanted to tell you about a T-shirt a friend made for his class when he was studying microbiology. It had a big pic of an E.coli on the front, and said "We love bacteria - it's our culture"
:D
