Darwin's Birthday
Is this Sunday February the 12th. Stick it to unintelligent design and go party full tilt in its face. If you're a little angrier than that run around in a gorilla suit and scare the bejesus out of the little ID girls and boys.
Games to play in celebration of Granddaddy of evolution include:
1. Pin the tail on the Marine Iguana. Or pin the tail on the Beagle.
2. Mix and match finch beaks. First team to match them up right gets chocolate eggs.
3. The Charles Darwin's Galapagos Island versus Alfred Russell Wallace's Malay Archipelago hopscotch race.
4. Find the jellybean under Darwin's Crustaceans. A dorky take on the shell game.
5. And if you're in London and mature as sharp cheddar you can go to the Natural Portrait Gallery and stare at one of two likenesses of his handsome and hairy visage on display.

Or...
visit http://www.darwinawards.com for some real life stories of those who are no longer with us...
or buy a darwin emblem and stick it on the back of your car (or one of the many variations...) at this site:

I have them on the back on my car - long live Darwin!

Or get down to the Natural History Museum, where the Darwin Centre are hosting a couple of talks about the great man at 12 O'clock and 2 O'clock.

If only I lived in or was visiting the UK - I am jealous - would love to hear these talks.
