With a tagline like "life in the girl nerd world" there's some niggle room as far as our content is concerned. That's great news cause it lets me shout as boldly as I can over the web:
OH.MY.GOD. SOMEONE CATCH ME QUICK.
A SERENITY SEQUEL MIGHT BE ON THE WAY.
It all depends on the DVD sales. So GO BUY IT.
In my opinion Whedon should pull a Lord-of-the-Rings-Trilogy on Hollywood's ass and film three more Serenity (GO BUY IT) movies in one sitting. That way everyone gets more bang for their buck (like you do with the DVD. GO BUY IT) - from the Hollywood execs to the slavering fandom (who have no excuse not to GO BUY IT). I'm happy to mobilise a campaign to revive Serenity (GO BUY IT). A petition even. We could make buttons. And form a committee officiated by Robert's Rules of Order. Anyone second my motion?
VIA Geekpress (who, I think we can safely say, also want you to GO BUY IT)

three cheers for girlnerds! yes, i will buy it.

*must remain calm*
Apparently us blokes aren't supposed to go squee when we read this sort of thing. So I didn't. Not at all.
Um, motion seconded?

HURRAY! Now, all I need to do is figure out s'more html and I'll make a second page where people can sign the petition. Maybe we should hold a bakesale.

Great idea! I think there was a petition for DVD release of Back To The Future -- it was pretty cool.
Anyway, I wonder how the sequel would go. So many possibilities! Woohoo!

Now that is mighty fine news (though part of me still hankers after a proper 22 episode TV series to be honest).

From what I've heard, a sequel may include more on Book's story, I hope so, while I like that Whedon keeps mysteries, Book is too cool to not know what he was (is?).

"Take my Book, take my Wash
Kick me right straight in the crotch...
I don't care, I'll still see
This film Whedon made for meee"
Sung to tune of Serenity. Found it online somewhere!
