I loved Travolta from grades 9 through 12. Ug. So why confess now? Cause I've got an excuse.
The crush wasn't me. It was my biology. Rutgers scientists just reported in Nature that good dancers are simply hotter.
Take it away Sydney Morning Herald:
The finding lends support to the idea that dancing is a way to show off high quality genes and good health - both indicators of a top quality mate.
Charles Darwin was the first to suggest that dance was a courtship signal in animals, but there had been no studies of the relation of dance and genetic or physical quality in humans until now.
Next research question: do they get laid more? I think we can all be sure the answer is just as predictable.
(WHAT WAS I THINKING? I WASN'T)

I dance. Hence I show off good genes.
Has that translated into more dates? More "laying" as you say? Not to my knowledge...

Hmm. Clearly you're an anomaly. There's no doubt your genes are great. And I've seen your moves. They're great too.

Dancing well = sexy. Pink socks = NOT SEXY. Pink socks to match your pink shirt? Eek. That's all I'm gonna say.

I can dance well - in my mind.
If only I could dance as well as Weird Al Yankovic (Mr. Ravolta makes me cringe) that would make my inner geek happy. Hot Rocks Polka - his polka medley of Rolling Stones songs - that would be a challenge to dance to...

Ha ha. "Mr. Ravolta". That's great. There's also a fantastic dance scence in Hitch that should be compulsory for any man to watch. Education and funny - just the way we like it.

Have seen the movie with my wife - she can't dance well either - we liked that dance sequence and the one in the movie "In and Out" with Kevin Kline dancing.
