that's right folks. our post on fuzzy undies inspired circus goers to send us boob stuff. it's such great stuff we just HAD to share.
MAMMARY MEMORY this too is quite staggering. the argument for making breast implants multitasking by BT Futorologist Ian Pearson:
Silicone sounds a bit like silicon, which of course is used in many electronic chips. That’s because silicone gel is based on silicon. In fact, it is possible to make some electronic circuits based on silicone, though they are not well suited to heavy computing tasks. Other kinds of plastic can even be used to make organic displays (using organic LEDs). So knowing this as an engineer, it is now very hard for me to think of breast implants as purely decorative. I just can’t help feeling that if a woman is going to have something implanted permanently, it might as well do something useful.
what might that be? well, implants could house mp3 players for example ("two beautifully designed control knobs to select the track and adjust the volume"). they could also host a bluetooth link to a wireless headset, chargeable with your special induction bra. mobile phones and PDAs are also implantable. the list goes on:
Vibration based alerts and appointment alarams might feel very pleasant, and would undoubtedly be used for sexual purposes on occasion, perhaps under remote control by her lover.
you could also implant displays on them. this brilliant idea, coupled with GPS navigation gear that vibrates to instruct the woman not to get lost, would result in tourist information displayed on ones chest. words just fail me. (thanks for this peach of story Mijke!)
BATTLE OF THE BRA now this is a-mazing. Hong Kong's Polytechnic University now offers a degree in bra studies. it's all part of a rush to top bra production and innovation. read the in-depth WSJ article here. (thanks Kaisa!)

This is an area where I think the battle for the remote control is going to raise constitutional issues. Some conservative will propose an ammendment to make women inform their husbands before having an operation to switch from Apple to PC. There's a host of issues here really.
